In his continued quest for Africa students to acquire more knowledge on cyber security, Prof Alexander Osondu Ataware Akpodiete, a Cybersecurity Expert has called on Nigeria students to be available at the Plateau State University, Jos for a two-day lectures on Disruptive Technologies, Threat Hunting and Ethical Hacking and among other topics.
It would be recalled that, Prof Akpodiete had recently, in Zambia engaged African Law Students on the fundamental understanding of the basic principles of Cyber Security primer.
Prof Akpodiete, a Juris Doctor, J.D at Law based in United Arab Emirates /United States, held that Cyber Security Primer introduce the foundational concept that includes threat analysis and the CIA triad.
Speaking to newsmen on Wednesday, the Delta born Professor disclosed that, “I am in Jos to deliver a 2-Day lecture/training at Plateau State University, and will be teaching on Disruptive Technologies such as Blockchain, Metaverse, NFTs, IoT.
“I will also take the students through demonstrations on ethical hacking, threat hunting, digital forensics and other extended cyber security topics and touch on Artificial Intelligence.
“A major part is for them to become aware of certification requirements and global career opportunities in these fields.
“This marks parts of diaspora week on ICT training”
